All the way to America

Since 2008 the work of Véronique Clamot is on permanent display in the Eisenhauer Gallery in Edgartown, Massachusetts, USA.
Edgartown is a lovely little town located on Martha's Vineyard, an island off the east coast of America, south of Cape Cod.
Martha's Vineyard was once known for its whaling and for being the home to one of the earliest known deaf communities in the United States.
Nowadays the island, famous for its pleasant climate, beautiful beaches and the three magnificent lighthouses, is far-famed as a summer resort for the well-off.

The Eisenhauer Gallery represents local and international artists: painters, sculptors and jewellery designers.

The Baigneuses by Véronique Clamot make their journey to the other side of the ocean, carefully packed and firmly anchored in solid wooden crates.
Yet it is an exciting venture again and again.
